What is Textile Design?

This film was commissioned to act as a thought-piece on the world of textiles with the end goal of sparking interest in the study of Textile Design.

We visited a variety of locations, from home studios through to vast production factories, in order to capture the diversity of areas that a textiles worker could operate in. We sought out the thoughts and opinions of design gurus at the top of their game, as well as fledgling designers beginning their journeys, to help us understand the nature of the world they inhabit. The realised film showed textiles to be everywhere and affecting all of of us, each and every day.
